December Events


Hello All
We have alot happening at the library during December.
* Every Monday at 10:30 am is Rhyme and Story Hour.
*Every Tuesday from 3-5 is "Whitingham Knit Whits" a knitting and crochet group.
* Thursday December 1st Community Movie Night. We will be featuring Water for Elephants based on Sara Gruen's best selling novel.
* Sunday December 11th at 3:00 pm You are invited to join our heartwarming tradition of reading Truman Capote's "A Christmas Memory". Refreshments will be served.
* Monday December 12th at 5:00 pm Book Discussion. Pearls, Politics and Power by Madeleine Kunin. Books are available at the library.

Rhyme & Story and Lunchbox have come together!

Rhyme & Story Time and Lunchbox Story have come together on one day. Monday April 4th Theme: Windy Days We will read Like A Windy Day by Frank Asch Children will make mini windsocks. 10:30 AM Rhyme Time (infants & Toddlers) We will focus on the little ones with a parent/child lapsit for songs, rhymes, fingerplays and boardbook stories. and Playtime! 11:30 AM Lunchbox Story (preschool and up) Bring your lunch and join us for stories and crafts. Stay for the day! To great programs together for younger and older siblings to enjoy!

Plaster Face Mask Making

Plaster Face Mask Making
Thursday October 21st 6 - 8 PM
A fun art experience for the whole family.
This workshop was designed to offer a fun, creative and new way of expressing yourself.Workshop participants will work on one another to create masks using a plaster gauze medium. A variety of paints and many decorative items will be provided but feel free to bring some of your own embellishments. Facilitator, Kathy Gaiser-Licht; M.Ed; M.A., is a counselor, educator and artist. Her art passions are masks, puppets and collage.
This workshop is recommended for adults and children ages 5 and up.
Refreshments will be provided.
