Plaster Face Mask Making
Thursday October 21st 6 - 8 PM
A fun art experience for the whole family.
This workshop was designed to offer a fun, creative and new way of expressing yourself.Workshop participants will work on one another to create masks using a plaster gauze medium. A variety of paints and many decorative items will be provided but feel free to bring some of your own embellishments. Facilitator, Kathy Gaiser-Licht; M.Ed; M.A., is a counselor, educator and artist. Her art passions are masks, puppets and collage.
This workshop is recommended for adults and children ages 5 and up.
Refreshments will be provided.

Stuffed animal sleepover was blast!



Children came in Wednesday April 21st for bedtime story hour with their special stuffed friends.
The friends stayed for a stuffed animal (only) sleepover and enjoyed many activities.
In attendance were: Baldy the giraffe, Playdis the Manatee, Crying bear the bear, Cotton the rabbit, Monkey Pillow the monkey, Mr Moose the moose and Elmo was our guest chapperone.
The animals ordered out for pizza, played Sorry! and watched Disney's Toy Story.

The next morning the kids came in to pick-up their friends and share donuts and juice while watching a slide show.

Help Wanted: Assistant Librarian

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, creative person to assist with all library operations:circulation desk duties/customer service, shelving, cataloging, filing, processing book and movie requests, updating web pages, creating posters and press releases and assist with both adult and children programs. 10-12 hours per week. Saturdays required 9-2.
VT Department of Libraries Certification not necessary, but must be willing to attend paid training to obtain certification.
